Biography
Dr. Ns. Meri Neherta is a professor in pediatric nursing with expertise in both healthy and sick children, including those with chronic and terminal conditions. She is dedicated to advancing the field of nursing through her research in child abuse, family nursing, transcultural nursing, and psychosocial aspects of care. Her commitment to academic excellence is demonstrated by her role as a mentor, successfully guiding her students to participate in the nationally recognized PKM-K competition. Dr. Meri served as the Vice Dean of Student Affairs at the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Andalas (2016-2020), and has been leading the Department of Maternal and Pediatric Nursing since 2020. As a professor in children’s nursing, she is passionate about nurturing the next generation of nurses to improve the health and wellbeing of children and families.

Prof. Hema Malini is a distinguished academic and leader in the field of nursing. As the former Dean of the Faculty of Nursing at Universitas Andalas, she continues to advance the nursing profession through leadership, mentorship, and international collaboration.
Prof. Hema Malini has made significant contributions to the development of the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Andalas, particularly through her leadership in organizing the Faculty's International Conference. She has also fostered vital international collaborations, working closely with global teams to promote nursing education and research. As the Head of the Faculty of Nursing Universitas Andalas Journal, she has been instrumental in the journal's development and its achievement of Shinta accreditation, bringing national and international recognition to the institution.
