Biography
Dr. Yulastri Arief, S.Kp, M.Kep, is a distinguished nursing leader with a PhD in Nursing from Universitas Indonesia. Throughout her career, she has made significant contributions to nursing leadership, management, patient safety, and service excellence. Dr. Yulastri served as the Head of the Master’s Program at Universitas Andalas from 2016 to 2020, where she played a pivotal role in developing and enhancing the curriculum and student experience. Since 2020, she has been leading the Basic and Management Nursing Department at Universitas Andalas, continuing to make meaningful improvements in nursing education and management.

Her expertise in nursing management extends beyond academia. Dr. Yulastri has made substantial contributions to nursing management in West Sumatra, shaping strategies to improve the nursing workforce and healthcare delivery in the region. Her research interests focus on optimizing human resources within the nursing sector, contributing to the ongoing efforts to enhance the quality and efficiency of nursing services.
