 Biography
Dr. Rika Sarfika is a distinguished expert in mental health nursing, biostatistics, and research methodology, with a primary focus on adolescent mental health and community mental health. Known for her pioneering research and numerous publications, she was the youngest graduate in her PhD program among her peers at Universitas Andalas. Dr. Sarfika is widely recognized for her contributions to the field, particularly in understanding emotional and behavioral problems in adolescents.

Currently, she serves as the Head of the Bachelor’s Program at the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Andalas, a role she holds from 2024 to 2029. She also plays an extensive role in advancing research and publication efforts within the university, focusing on research-driven approaches to improving community mental health.

Mohd. Djamil, S.Kp., M.Biomed, has a broad academic background, having earned his Bachelor's degree from Universitas Padjadjaran and a Master's degree from Universitas Andalas. His research interests focus primarily on community health care, health promotion, and family nursing, where he integrates his knowledge of cultural aspects and psychosocial dynamics in healthcare.

As Vice Dean of Student Affairs at the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Andalas, Djamil has played a crucial role in the development and management of student affairs and the academic environment, ensuring that students are well-supported and that the faculty continues to advance in student engagement and success.

Djamil is committed to improving community health through research and practical application in nursing, focusing on strengthening family-oriented and community-based health care practices. His work in the area of health education and promotion, combined with his focus on transcultural nursing, enables him to address healthcare needs with a holistic and culturally sensitive approach.

Biography
Gusti Sumarsih, S.Kp., M.Biomed, is an expert in gerontic nursing with a profound interest in community health and therapeutic communication. She combines her nursing expertise with biomedical sciences to offer a holistic approach to nursing care, especially in gerontology and palliative care.

In addition to her focus on aging populations, Gusti plays a critical role in disaster nursing at Universitas Andalas. As the head of the disaster nursing department, she has been instrumental in extending the university's involvement in disaster events, providing expertise, and mobilizing support during critical times. Her leadership in this area has had a significant impact on the university's response to natural and human-made disasters.

Having completed her bachelor's degree at Universitas Indonesia and her master's degree at Universitas Andalas, Gusti continues to lead and inspire in both the academic and disaster nursing fields. Her research interests are primarily focused on gerontology, and she remains dedicated to improving care for the elderly through culturally sensitive and comprehensive nursing practices.
