Biography
Gusti Sumarsih, S.Kp., M.Biomed, is an expert in gerontic nursing with a profound interest in community health and therapeutic communication. She combines her nursing expertise with biomedical sciences to offer a holistic approach to nursing care, especially in gerontology and palliative care.
In addition to her focus on aging populations, Gusti plays a critical role in disaster nursing at Universitas Andalas. As the head of the disaster nursing department, she has been instrumental in extending the university's involvement in disaster events, providing expertise, and mobilizing support during critical times. Her leadership in this area has had a significant impact on the university's response to natural and human-made disasters.

Biography
Fitra Yeni is an expert in family health care and transcultural nursing, with a focus on the intersection of psychosocial culture and nursing practices. Her career reflects a commitment to improving family health care through understanding the cultural aspects that influence health behaviors and nursing interventions. Fitra Yeni has contributed significantly to the field of nursing, particularly in understanding how cultural and psychosocial factors impact patient care and family well-being.
She has actively participated in the development of the Nursing Department at Universitas Andalas Hospital during its early stages and played a significant role in the development of the Faculty of Nursing Universitas Andalas Koperasi.
Between 2012 and 2016, she served as the Vice Dean of Financial Affairs at the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Andalas, where she was instrumental in managing the faculty’s financial affairs and ensuring the efficient use of resources to support its academic and research initiatives.
Currently, Fitra Yeni serves as the Manager at the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Andalas, where she continues to play a vital role in its development and operations.

Dally Rahman is a dedicated nursing leader renowned for his expertise in disaster preparedness, critical care, and HIV/AIDS nursing. His contributions to disaster nursing include his involvement in the development of the Indonesian Nursing Care Handbook, a widely used resource for nursing students across Indonesia. This seminal work has helped shape nursing education and enhance the quality of care provided in disaster and emergency settings.
In addition to his academic and research achievements, Dally Rahman has been serving as the Head of the Nursing Department at Universitas Andalas Hospital since 2020. In this role, he bridges the Faculty of Nursing with hospital operations, strengthening the faculty’s involvement in providing high-quality patient care and advancing clinical practice.
